My senior thesis film, The Flashback (2018), garnered numerous awards including Best New Filmmaker and Best Editor. It is a story of a Vietnam Veteran with PTSD fulfilling a battlefield promise. The film has been recognized by Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, USA Film Festival, NOVA Film Festival, Southern Arizona Film Festival, New Hope Film Festival, Accolade Film Festival, GI Film Festival, and international recognition in Australia and New Zealand.
Creating social content for Liberty University and small businesses while in college led to being hired as a Professional Intern within Disney’s Yellow Shoes, the internal advertising agency of The Walt Disney Company. When your mantra is Walt Disney’s famous line, “It’s Kind of Fun to do the Impossible”; then it’s kind of a big deal for your first gig out of college to be with The Walt Disney Company!
Becoming a private pilot at 16 has afforded me a unique perspective on the benefit of doing hard things. Set your sites on the goal and move toward it.
